Postage savings & Metering

Postage Savings and Metering

Presorting and metering for daily, weekly or monthly postage discounts

Whether mailing large or small volumes, postage fees are a necessity. Businesses can save both time and money by having their outgoing mail presorted, metered or commingled. The USPS has steps that mailing providers can take to make their job easier which in turn they give postage discounts.

Greater efficiency and production cost savings

Our team of professional delivery drivers have years of experience in secure handling and timeliness on pickups/deliveries. We have many flexible pickup schedules to fit your business's needs. Our data department can help process your mailings for greater savings and ease of execution. We are HIPPA compliant and all of our data is stored on secure servers in our facility. This allows you to save labor and money on equipment.

Sorting and processes

We are able to sort all types of mail including First Class, Marketing Mail, Non-Profit, and Flats. We use an Optical Character Reader (OCR) sorter that allows us to process letter sized mail and puts intelligent Mail Barcodes (IMB) on each piece. The barcodes allow for lower postage rates and tracking on delivery. Our data team can also process and presort mailings for the addresses to have an IMB printed on and put in sorted order for postage discounts.

We sort mail for postage discounts and pass those discounts on to you.

First Class Mail is the fastest option for delivery. Usually delivered 2-3 days locally and up to 4 days nationwide. First Class comes with mail forwarding and return to sender. Businesses also have the option to mail as Certified Mail.

If there are more than 500 pieces in a First Class mailing it can be presorted to recieve a lower postage rate and receive the same benefits of First Class. To acheive the lower rate, the addresses have to be CASS/NCOA certified.

Marketing Mail is also known as "Standard mail". Each mailing has to have a minimum quantity of 200 pieces to qualify. This class is used for marketing mail such as postcards, letters, flyers, catalogs, and other advertising. Standard Mail is usually delivered locally within 3-6 business days. Nationally it can take 2 weeks or more.

Non Profit Mail has the lowest postage rate of all class of mail.  Organizations have to be registered and authorized by the US Postal Service to mail at this rate. It is processed and delivered the same way as Marketing Mail.
